Job summary

The Zippy Shell / 1-800-PACK-RAT Commercial Sales Team is looking for a someone to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Wake Forest, NC. In the role, cold call, follow up on warm leads, and build relationships with our customers, using the consultative approach to understand the customer’s needs and then offer them the best moving and storage solution to meet their business needs. Physical demands

Thisposition will require use of a personal computer and phone on an ongoing basis throughout the workday. Additionally, the position requires frequent sitting, use of hands to type on a keyboard, reaching with hands and arms, speaking, hearing, and vision abilities, and the ability to lift and carry up to 10 (ten) pounds or more.

Primary job responsibilities

• Recruit, negotiate, and sign on new national accounts, market development, and building a strong pipeline of customers/accounts
• Provide information and answer questions about various services offered by 1-800-PACK-RAT and Zippy Shell
• Offer services such as Freight, 20’and 40’ Containers and offices, Portable Toilets, and Fencing
• Trailers Sales and Full-Service Moves
• Leverage consultative sales approach to meet daily, weekly, monthly call and sales targets
• Provide information and answer questions about various services offered by 1-800-PACK-RAT
• Apply appropriate sales techniques and demonstrate sustained achievement of monthly sales goals and metrics

Required skills

• 2+ years of proven sales success
• Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
• Strong phone presence and experience dialing up to 80 calls per day
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales or customer service environment
• History of successfully meeting or exceeding targets/quotas
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• PC proficiency with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of moving/storage or logistics industry is a plus

Education

• High school diploma required; BS/BA preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
